The Chamber takes its role in Government Affairs and Public Policy very seriously. Our Governmental Affairs Committee meets regularly and monitors, researches and makes recommendations on legislation and policy issues at the local, county, state and national level.
The Chamber regularly attends meetings of the Lake Havasu City Council, and participates as an economic development stakeholder on boards and committees associated with growth and development of the community. With an emphasis on a strong regional presence, the Chamber also is a founding member and participant in the Mohave County Chamber’s Coalition (MCCC). The Coalition discusses and acts on issues that could be helpful or harmful for the business interests of the 212,100 residents of Mohave County. |
